TrainingWell™Welcome to the TrainingWell™ section of AthleticEndurance™, which will improve your performance through technique and education. A little understanding of the pathophysiology of joint and muscle function during normal running and will go a long way to the corrections that will reduce or prevent hip or knee injury. The TrainingWell™ concept is offered for your general information and review, however the AthleticEndurance™ Training Program does not suggest or require that you train with this method of running. TrainingWell™ is a common sense, simple program for running and walking incorporating the physiology (study of function) of joints and muscles during running. After reviewing the pathophysiology (how normal function leads to injury or disease) of running, we'll demonstrate modifications to reduce injury and increase the efficiency of your performance. TrainingWell™ has elements from other running programs that you may be familiar with including Pose, Chi running and others. TrainingWell™ focuses on injury prevention by improving posture, examining pathophysiology and maintaining good running form. The bonus of the TrainingWell™ technique is that it is energy efficient.
